Freckles, affectionately known as our wild child, came to us from Bill Crozier of C4 Longhorns—a fellow Butler breeder with an eye for uniqueness. With her speckled coat and solid horn set, she’s a striking presence in the pasture, especially when summer sun hits just right. Her pedigree is a rare gem in the Butler world, tracing back to Royal Diablo MC 57 and Rajun Freckles ML 70—bloodlines that are increasingly hard to come by. That makes her not just beautiful, but genetically invaluable. Though our journey with Freckles began with a few bumps, she’s grown into a trusting, responsive member of the herd. She now comes when called, and has proven herself as a devoted mother, raising her first heifer with impressive care. We’re thrilled to have her in our program and can’t wait to see the legacy she continues to build.

Chantilly is a standout Butler beauty we were proud to acquire from Terry Moore’s renowned program. She embodies everything we admire in a classic Butler cow—massive base horns paired with a refined, feminine face, a signature look from Terry’s carefully curated genetics. Sired by LAER Louisiana Man (a powerful Trinity R3 son) and out of Clementine 8/07, Chantilly carries a rich infusion of Ace’s lineage, blending strength, structure, and timeless Butler appeal. This cross has proven exceptional—most notably producing her 2024 Futurity-winning daughter, MFR Spanish Sangria. With her genetics and proven production, Chantilly is a cornerstone of our program and a cow with true legacy potential.

Vega is a powerful genetic addition to our herd, purchased at the 2024 BBI sale. She’s out of Royal Desperado ML66 and 5T’s Spanish Spice, with lineage of Jackie Lynn 827, whose influence is clear in Vega’s thick, upcurving horns and strong frame. Her clean lines and depth of body have already been passed on to her 2025 bull calf by Brush Jacket MC 14, a promising prospect we’re raising as a potential herd sire. Vega’s assertive personality shows at feeding time—always second behind Amber and never shy about claiming her share.

Merlot is a rich red beauty, just like her name suggests. Sired by SDY Corbin and out of BPT Ebeneezer, she carries forward the strong maternal instincts and consistency of her dam. Her dam, Miss Scarlett Rose, descends from renowned Butler lineage including Little Ace Swamp Guinea, FA Field Marshal, Delta Rockette, Coach, and Ace’s Mojo. Now a mature cow, Rose stands out with a bold, upward horn set and a graceful presence that reflects both her pedigree and unique beauty in the field.

Sangria is a 2024 Futurity Winner and a rising star in our program. At just over two years old, she already displays impressive horn growth, a deep, powerful body, and a confident presence that sets her apart. Sangria is the result of a powerhouse cross—out of Chantilly Lace 26 and Spanish Desperado MC 96—bringing the coveted Jackie Lynn lineage into our herd. With her elite pedigree and already proven show success, we’re expecting big things from this young female. Her 2025 calf will be one to watch.

Moira joined our herd thanks to fellow breeder Helen Cloakey, who introduced us during a visit to Wynfal Acres—and she instantly stole the spotlight. Her striking red-and-white coat, thick horn set, and bread-loving charm made her unforgettable. Moira brings classic Butler strength through her lineage: WA Iodine’s Condor MC and JMR Butler Rose, with foundational names like SCC Bold Lady, Superior, and Festus MC 27 woven into her pedigree. She’s currently raising her first heifer calf by Sante Fe, showing excellent maternal instincts and calm disposition. With her conformation, heritage, and personality, Moira is a beautiful addition to our program and one we’re excited to watch grow into her full potential.
